Clarksville has a Lock and Dam, plus a viewing platform to watch the barges and boats.
We also have the famous Clarksville Sky Lift which is under restoration at this time , the
sky lift is planning to reopen sometime in mid summer of 2007. You can see some of the best views in the State from the top of the sky lift.

Clarksville dates from the early 1800's. There are many Civil war and Pre civil war homes to be seen, located on great hilly streets through out the town. Many classic buildings and churches to be seen also.
